At XCELL SPORTS SCIENCE, we specialise in athletic strength & conditioning programs that incorporate techniques that target the individual’s overall athleticism, making them faster, more agile, stronger, explosive and fitter on the field.

How many sessions weekly is it?

All in house programs are 2x 1.5hr sessions/ week.

Online program is

Can I make up a session if I miss a session?

If a session is missed due to an adequate reason, and appropriate timing was given to the coach, the session will not be deemed as missed, and if availability allows will be made up, otherwise the athlete’s training program will be pushed back a session.

This of course is up to the coach’s discretion.

Is it one on one?

Our Semi- Elite and Elite Athlete Programs are individualised, and are in house in a group setting of around athletes, so no they are not one on one.

Only our Premium Elite program is one on one with the coach.

How is training structured?

Our specialised athletic training sessions are designed to allow the athlete to achieve maximal results, within the 1.5hr session.

Athlete’s will begin with prehab work, prioritising mobility and injury prevention, moving into a dynamic warm up. This will set the athlete up to be ready for speed & agility work outside. Adequate rests are given to the athlete, ensuring that they are targeting an enhancement in speed, reaction and explosiveness and not working under fatigue. Then the athlete will finish off inside the gym, working with weights for strength and power.

Can I train with XCELL Sports Science if I am not local?

Yes, we don’t only offer in house training but we also offer online athletic training. Head to the Athlete Training Programs, under Online Elite for more information.

Can I get a discount for more than one athlete?

We do offer sibling discounts where you pay full price for an athlete, and any additional sibling athletes is 50% off. This is for upfront and weekly direct debit payment options.

*Please note that siblings must train at same training times/ days.

What age does my child have to be to train at XCELL SPORTS SCIENCE?

We don’t have a specific age limit, we just ask that as a parent you are able to determine whether your child is able to respectfully pay attention for an 1.5hr session, with other athletes. 

If not, we ask politely to enquire when you feel like your child can, as this ensures that sessions are run smoothly.

Can I get a free trial session?

Unfortunately as we are only a small family owned business we are unable to offer free trials/ sessions, but you are more than welcome to get in contact with us to discuss any questions about our athletic training programs.
